I have a PhD degree in Immunogenetics and have been working in the field of Drug discovery for rare genetic diseases for over 2 decades. My focus has been on developing personalised medicine using gene editing techniques for rare diseases like Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

In addition to being a full time scientist and foodie, I am a part time musician, chef, motorcycle enthusiast, traveller, photographer (mobile phone only), philosopher, mentor for students and researchers and a motivator.
